Help Support the K8MOT 200 MHz Repeater in Wells, VT

Hello fellow amateur radio operators,

I’m reaching out to ask for your consideration in helping support the continued operation and maintenance of the K8MOT 220 MHz repeater located on Northeast Mountain in Wells, Vermont.

The repeater operates on 224.960 MHz with a negative (-) offset and is available for use by the amateur radio community throughout the area.

As with any mountain top repeater system, keeping the equipment on the air comes with ongoing expenses. Donations received will be used specifically to help support:

• Updating and replacing aging repeater equipment

• Site rent and associated operating expenses

• General maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the repeater system

My goal is to keep the K8MOT repeater reliable and available to the amateur radio community while continuing to improve the system as equipment ages and needs arise.

There is absolutely no requirement to donate in order to use the repeater. The machine is available to all properly licensed amateur radio operators, whether or not they are able to contribute. However, if you use the repeater, enjoy having 200 MHz infrastructure available in the area, or simply want to support local amateur radio, any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
